Service-Learning is all about students using skills that they are learning in the classroom to connect to some real-world problem. They will be using creative problem solving and engineering design to develop a solution to that problem to serve members of the community. In this lesson the students will begin to make the connection that what they learn in school is connected to the “real” world and it is a framework for them to learn skills that will serve them for life.
