EPICSK12 is derived from the award winning design course at Purdue University for use in grades 6-12 as a full year class, as part of an existing course or as an after school program. It aligns with national and state standards including the Next Generation Science Standards. Integrating community engagement and STEM can reach diverse student populations including those traditionally underrepresentation within the STEM fields.
This workshop will introduce teachers to the EPICS learning environment and resources to implement it into their own schools.
